BATTEN DOWN (2) finished third as favourite last time out over 1m1/2f at Keeneland (Dirt), making it two minor placings from three career starts. Overdue for a win and gets his chance to break through. DAILY GRIND (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park after being in contention on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. BRICKLAYER (1) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m1/2f at Keeneland (Dirt). Tough to stop again. MO RUM (3) finished 4.5 lengths away in fifth at his last appearance over 1m1f at Fairgrounds (Turf) on March 24. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him.
