GRAN ANDREWS (2) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.25 lengths at this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Likely to be there at the finish again. SMOOTH RICO (3) was unwanted in betting last time but scored by 2.25 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best form puts him right in this. AL LOVES JOSIE (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Has a very strong second up record. Likely improver with strong prospects. GOODLUCKCHUCK (4) is a nine-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the W R Bailes yard. Scored at his latest appearance at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) ten weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can return with a bold run.
