PIT STOP MAN (3) resumed over 6f at Laurel (Dirt) last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is clearly the one they have to beat. FUN LOVIN CRIMINAL (5) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 1m at Laurel (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SIR ALFRED JAMES (7) returns from a layoff of 11 months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 7f at this track. Has switched to the Anthony Farrior stable. Looks a strong top-three prospect. RESTLESS (8) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by one length over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Has a terrific record here with three wins and two minor placings from five starts. Not to be discounted.
