PERNO (8) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1m1/2f at Finger Lakes (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. HE'S A COMMISIONER (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TOUCHED UP (11) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when seventh over 6½f at this track, beaten 12 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he can play a big role. GOLDEN AL (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Laurel, beaten 14 lengths into sixth. No surprise to see him in contention.
