EL DE CHIREL (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.3 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. HOPPING HENRY (3) was a narrow winner by 0.3 lengths at this track (Dirt) in a then third at this track (Dirt) last time. Gets a little weight relief. Distance specialist with six wins and 13 minor placings from 27 runs and is sure to run well. REMYS GUNSMOKE (7) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Top-three hope. BODYSLAM (1) was far too good when resuming last start when he scored by 3 lengths over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Open to plenty of improvement and is among the better chances.
