ROMAN CANDLE (3) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 9 lengths from the winner in eighth at this course and distance. Can bounce back this time. WOODEN SHIPS (7) was a most impressive winner last time over 6½f at this track (Dirt), scoring by 4 lengths. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts her right in this. PHILMARY CASTLE (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when tenth over 7f at this track, beaten 19 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. LADY BOO (2) returned from a break and was on dirt for the first time last start when sixth over this course and distance, beaten 37 lengths. Expected to improve off the first outing on this surface and has the ability to feature.
