CANDY FOR JUBA (5) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1/2f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent. MAGICAL SURPRISE (1) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark five runs back, the latest effort a second over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Should camp just off the leaders. Expecting a bold showing. VALHALLA'S PALACE (8) scored his maiden win here last time out over this trip, getting the decision by 9 lengths. Looks well placed and he should be in the finish again. CALYPSO JOHN (6) was beaten 10 lengths into fifth over 6½f at this track six weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest.
