CHORLTON LANE (6) started at 5/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths at this track over 7f43yards. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. LAFARGUE (10) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f21yards at Flemington, beaten one length into fifth. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. ST LAWRENCE (8) finished second last start over 7f43yards at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should be peaking. Yet to miss the placings in three starts over this course and distance. Should be about the money.
