MARS MISSION (9) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 6f at Flemington. Sure to prove tough to beat. EXTREME FLIGHT (3) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 5½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. BARAQIEL (15) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 3.5 lengths over 6f at Swan Hill. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. THE OPEN (11) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with 1.3 lengths to spare over 6½f at Sandown-Lakeside. Is in sparkling form with three straight wins this time in work. Don't underestimate.
