VINTAGE CLARETS (1) was below his best last start at Haydock Park. Record tackling this track and trip is excellent never missing the placings in three runs. Proven at the level and looks well placed to bounce back strongly. VENTURE CAPITAL (2) showed sharp improvement at Ascot last time finishing 1. 3L third after racing on the pace. With Shane Gray taking the reins he gets his chance to break through. LEXINGTON BLITZ (5) proved consistent in recent starts registering three consecutive placings. Deserves a change of fortune. ROSENPUR (8) was much better when third here most recently and could be competitive again with further improvement expected.
