MOUNT DOVE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Lismore, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. This doesn't look as hard so she is a major player. COUNT NICHOLAS (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 7 lengths, over 5f at Cranbourne. This doesn't look as hard so he will be hard to beat. STERN IMPULSE (2) is resuming from a break of three-and-a-half months for a new stable after finishing tenth over 6f at Benalla at her latest outing. Good fresh performer with a win and three minor placings from five runs. Bold showing expected. SHE'S A REVELATION (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in 11th over 5½f at Grafton. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
