SET THE SCENE (4) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth on turf at Geraldton two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Geraldton over 1m1 1/2f when 6 lengths adrift in fourth. Record here is impressive with two wins from six starts. Should run well. WELD (1) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at Ascot. Has the ability to put the recent poor run behind him. ORTUM KRISP (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in 12th over 7f at Pinjarra after being in contention on the turn. Finds a nice race and can find winning form. GILT DRAGON (5) returned from a lay-off five weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 5f207yards at Narrogin. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
