BALMIERRO (7) is a nine-start maiden who has been in the money three times. Could only manage fourth at the latest appearance over 7¾f at this track. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from three starts. Should be in the finish. LADYKING (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.1 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Gosford after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KINGS VALLEY (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7¾f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Ready to go a couple better. PHYSICIST (2) was beaten for speed on debut last start then found the line strongly to grab third over 6¾f at Wyong. Has upside and must be respected.
