MALABAR (2) showed good early speed last start over this journey at this track before finishing second, beaten a head. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. SUNLORD (4) accounted for a maiden field over 7½f at Newcastle last start, finishing 0.9 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. No reason he cannot get the job done again. DON PEDRO (1) bounced back last start and scored by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend as public elect over 7¾f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. THE PROFESSOR (6) finished second last time over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle, beaten a neck. Jason Collett gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge.
