FLASHY ICON (6) turned in a strong run last time at the first run of the prep when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only half a length into second over 7f at Nowra. Should run on into the finish again. CRAFT (5) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Goulburn but disappointed last time when 13th, beaten 7 lengths, at Randwick over 1m after being in contention on the corner. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. CARAVANSERAI (4) registered a strong win at Cootamundra two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in contention on the turn before finishing second over 1m at Goulburn, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Finds an easier assignment and can rediscover winning form. EXTRAVAGANT CHOICE (1) was beaten one length into fourth in a 1m contest at Kembla Grange last time out. Better than recent efforts suggest.
