SURPRISATIC (4) is fresh from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Bendigo over 5f. In a different yard now. Ran sixth in a trial at Albury over 4½f recently. Key runner while fresh. COSMIC EAGLE (6) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 5½f at Hawkesbury following a minor placing at Muswellbrook over 5f the run prior. Likely to be about the money. MINKS WRITTEN (9) came home soundly to finish fourth when resuming over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton last time out. Will find this a little tougher but shapes as one to consider. Set Weights EET WARRIOR (13) is a filly by Saxon Warrior out of Sweet Knuckle on debut. Easy trial winner. Could pay to watch for market confidence.
