MAJOR DESIRE (7) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 3 lengths into seventh over 7f65yards at Queanbeyan last time out. Can bounce back. SOUL TAKER (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7¼f at Muswellbrook, beaten 3 lengths. Strips fitter and can make amends. ICEBREAKER (2) returns from a lay-off of six months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Wyong over 1m when when resuming last time in work. Ran fourth in a trial at Hawkesbury over 6¼f recently. Worth plenty of thought on an each-way basis. CHEVAL GRIS (10) turned in a better run last start, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
