HIMEROS (7) failed to figure again last time over 1m1f at Hawkesbury, beaten 5 lengths into sixth. Comes down a level this time. Leading contender. NO ESCAPING THIS (3) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1m2f at Queanbeyan, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. That followed a win at Queanbeyan at the previous outing. Has the ability to produce another win. MONTE DE SNOW (9) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Hawkesbury, beaten 9 lengths into seventh after being prominent at the turn. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around.
