ELLIE'S DREAM (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Townsville, finishing fourth and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RECRUITER (5) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 5½f at Canterbury when he finished seventh. This is his first run for the Ricky Ludwig stable. Has ability and should be right in the finish. HE GOES BOOM (2) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by half a length over 5f at Bowen. Will give a sight again. PELSAERT (4) closed last campaign with three consecutive minor placings and is back. After a break of 12 weeks. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Must be respected.
