THE HONEY BADGER (2) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 6¼f at this track on debut. Can go on with it. THE COPS (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 6¼f contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to get the prize. MARCH MADNESS (6) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6¼f at this track, beaten one length. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to play a major role. HOLD MY HALO (9) turned in a better run last start, beaten 2 lengths into fourth over 6f at Townsville. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
