GOLD CLASSIC (2) debuted with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 5f at Townsville, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. BANG STICK (1) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a head over 5¼f at Mackay. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he is a solid top-three hope. GYMNOSOMATA (5) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Georgina Holt. By North Pacific from Blue Angel. Expect a bold run. MR OREO (3) finished midfield on debut last time out, safely held 7 lengths from the winner over 5f at Townsville. Better for that outing and is expected to run well.
