AMNESTY (8) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in 12th over 4¾f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Canterbury the run before. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. CROWNING MOMENT (1) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 3 lengths away in eighth last time out over 4¾f at this track four weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Record at this journey is impressive with six wins and six placings from 17 runs and is right in this. SPIRIT MEISTER (10) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten a head into second over 6¼f at this track. Has a good record here at this journey with three wins and six minor placings from 11 starts. Has claims on his best efforts. MAZZARATTI (15) finished just under two lengths away from the winner last time at Mareeba and gets some weight relief here. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Must be respected.
