NORTHERN PRIDE (2) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 1.1 lengths over 6½f at Townsville as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with four wins from five starts. Sure to go well again. COCHRANE (4) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 5½f at Mackay, getting home by 1.1 lengths. Winning rider Michael Murphy retains the mount. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can win again. MISSILE THUNDER (3) has three wins and four minor placings from 12 runs this campaign. Scored last start by half a length at this track over 4¾f after he gave away a big start. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to make a big impact. YES DREAM (1) had been in great form winning two on end before finishing third last time out over 4¾f at this track.
