Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and looks a top chance. MY ARTIE (1) finished 11th over 7f at Tuncurry at his most recent appearance on December 11. Lines up. For the first time for trainer alwyn bailey. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. SONIC LIGHT (7) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 1.75 lengths away in second over 5f134yards at Mareeba. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. SHEZAPEARLER (10) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 4½f at Mareeba. Solid top-three prospects.
