BURNS TO EMBRACE (1) returned last time with a solid second at Townsville over 6f after being in the firing line on the turn. In the right race and is a winning hope. ATOMIC THEORY (2) was only a neck from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 4¾f at this track on soft going. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to stop. ALONTRO (7) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth at his latest appearance over 7¾f at Mackay. Lacey Morrison goes well on this five-year-old and is back on top. Sure to be competitive. KING CANUTE (4) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at this track over 6¼f, beaten 7 lengths. Backmarker who keeps coming. Deserves respect on best figures.
