SHOULDER PATCH (1) turned in a bold run when resuming when he tried to lead throughout but faded and finished fifth, beaten 1.4 lengths at Albany. Sure to take running down. MISS LAQUETTA (13) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m2f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at this track the run before. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind her. ENSIGN PULVER (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Sure to be in the mix.
