SANTANOVA (7) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 5f at this track. Has upside and can open her account. ZIPPY ZANY (5) returned last time with a solid third at Pinjarra over 5f. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. NORTH FACE (1) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 3 lengths back in sixth over 6f at Belmont Park five months ago. Tuned right up with two lead-up trials. Should be competitive. CHAMPAGNE COAST (6) is back from a lay-off of five months. Closed last prep with a ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f at Belmont Park. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Everything points to a big run.
