ETERNAL ROMANCE (12) got a long way back when 4 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7f at Northam last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth on debut at Northam the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. COVENTRY REEF (1) again failed to feature last start, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1m2 1/4f at this track. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and shapes as a key contender. VIRIKAH (8) went back early from her wide draw over 7f at Northam last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the longer journey looks ideal. Warrants plenty of respect. ANTZ PANTZ BABY (11) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths, at Northam over 1m. Looms as a genuine contender.
