OUR MATE ARCHIE (3) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 5½f at Northam, scoring by half a length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. GOLD KEEPER (6) finds it hard to win with two victories from 21 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6f at Belmont Park, beaten 6 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. ZANGIEF (4) has not appeared since he finished tenth over 6f at Belmont Park on July 24. Can make his presence felt. DEEP SPEED (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Belmont Park, beaten 2.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
