PAIGEY'S TURN (2) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m at Belmont Park. This doesn't look as hard so she is sure to be prominent. TRIBAL RULER (4) was sent out at 60/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1m1/2f at this track. Expected to run well again. NOD AND SMILE (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when ninth over 1m at Northam. Likely improver with strong prospects. VENUS KING (9) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m1/2f at this track, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Brad Parnham was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
