DEEP POINT (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 6f at Port Hedland after being in contention on the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MR CONFIDENTIAL (8) led into the straight last start over 1m at Pinjarra but could not sustain the pressure and finished eighth. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Leading contender. GINGER CHARM (4) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Port Hedland last start, a less impressive effort than her eighth at Pinjarra the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DISCO DONUT (3) is returning from a lay-off of four months. Finished ninth at Ascot over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kelvin Moore.
