EMERALDS PRIDE (7) was in excellent winning form toward the end of the previous prep. Resumed in great form when a 1L winner of a course and distance handicap during May. Leading contender. Former track and trip winner VENTURA EXPRESS (1) won this race two years ago and the seven-year-old recorded a narrow victory at Pontefract two starts back among this company. Main danger. SHOWHOUND (6) looks promising. Won a 6f maiden at Ayr prior to a Redcar novice second in August. Interesting on seasonal return. DIGITAL (5) placed a head second over 5f at Hamilton last week. Good chance.
