MONGOLIAN GOBI (3) hasn't raced since filling a minor placing at this track over 6½f six weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Flemington. Has definite claims at his best. CASTELLITO (8) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by a head over 6f at Kyneton last start. Bold showing expected again. HEY JESSIE (6) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Seymour, beaten 2. 5 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
