SHOELESS (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then was never in contention last start when 7 lengths away in 11th over 7f25yards at Sale. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. MICHELOTTI (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh over 7f at Warrnambool two weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CROWN WATERS (10) took advantage of the good draw last start and was in the firing line for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing eighth and beaten 7 lengths over 7¼f at Geelong. Must be included among the main hopes. SHUT EYE (16) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f at Mornington. Sure to give a sight.
