QUADTRATIC (9) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 0.8 lengths away in second over 1m3 1/4f at Geelong when she was prominent throughout. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. PEACEFUL PROTEST (4) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m4f at Swan Hill after being prominent at the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DYNAMIC DEEL (3) finished second last start over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, beaten 1.75 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. WHISKEY TANGO (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
