DENIRRA (7) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over this journey at Stony Creek. Can easily finish right over the top of these. VANDELLE (10) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6f at Kyneton. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POSH I'M NOT (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on September 5 finishing 11th and beaten 7 lengths over 6f at Benalla. Makes plenty of appeal. HEROIC CHIEF (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on January 14 when beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth at Wodonga over 6½f. Placed to advantage and can run a better race.
