SEA MIST (11) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 5f at Seymour. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. STAY HUMBLE (12) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by one length over 5½f at Murtoa. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he cannot be discounted. ABDICATION (3) is close to breaking through following a narrow defeat last time over 6f at Mildura. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is one of the prime contenders. MAGIC MOGUL (6) returns from a lay-off of ten months and did win when resuming last time in work over 6f at this track. Top-three claims.
