DANCING DUCK (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1m2 1/4f at Wodonga after being in contention on the corner. Goes up a rung or two but she is worth serious consideration. DREAMSTONE (4) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1m2 1/4f at Wodonga. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to take this out. SUPER SLEUTH (1) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten 4.5 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so he can recapture winning form. IRVING AGAIN (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Donald but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 15 lengths over 1m2 1/4f at Murtoa. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
