Yet to miss the frame over this longer journey and will pay to follow up. ROKANORI (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Chris Parnham is a key engagement. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. CRESCENT CITY (6) showed good speed here last time over 1m1/4f until tiring late and finishing seventh, beaten 6 lengths. William Pike who has three wins when partnering stays on. Sure to be competitive. RIVER RUBICON (1) finished sixth when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at this track. Has a sound record here with two wins and three minor placings from eight starts. This sets up nicely.
