CAPTAIN PLUTO (2) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1m, beaten a nose. Cherry-ripe now. William Pike has registered four minor placings when on board. Likely to feature. Group 2 placegetter BUCKETS RIDGE (1) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 7f here last time. Certain to be winding up strongly. MANAVENDRA (4) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f at this track last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fifth at this track the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. CISCOJOE (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track over 7f. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention.
