CROSS STATEMENT (2) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. OUTFIELD (4) ran below expectations last time at this track over 6½f, finishing seventh and beaten 2.2.5 lengths.
