CANNY ROCK (1) finished third last time out over 5f at Northam, making it seven career minor placings. Goes well here with four top-three finishes to his credit. Among the top chances. ON THE MARK (2) kept coming only to just miss last start over 5f at this track. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. This doesn't look as hard so he is a key runner. SPIRIT OF GEORGE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 6f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong prospects. BIRD ON A WIRE (11) followed an unplaced effort two starts back with a second last start over 6f at Bunbury. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
