SOLAR SYSTEM (3) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the C & M Gangemi yard. Resumes after finishing sixth at Newcastle at his last run five months ago. Fitter for placing in a Belmont Park trial and is in a nice race. Can make a winning return. CHERRY CAN RUN (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. CHER (4) has not appeared since she finished 11th over 6f at Ascot on November 15. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Right in the contest. CHERRY'S A STAR (5) comes here off a break of eight months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6½f at Northam. Has to be respected.
