CRYMENOTEARS (4) lines up on the back of a 3.5 lengths fourth over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly. Credentials hard to fault. QICKWIT (15) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when sixth over 6f at Kilcoy two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be taken lightly. GREY EFFECTS (8) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6¾f at Ipswich last start after being in contention on the turn, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Lismore the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. HI JULES (11) opened this prep with a win then couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 5f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
