SHERIFF (5) was below his best last time when 11th after being in the firing line on the turn over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 5.5 lengths. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. FAR TOO HOT (10) was beaten 3.5 lengths into ninth in a 6½f contest at Canberra a week-and-a-half ago. Nicely placed to find some form.
