QUEEN CALANTHE (4) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 5½f at Nowra. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GUN CONTROL (7) stepped out on her debut over 6f at Warwick Farm three weeks ago and finished 12th, beaten 12 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. BLOOMIN' GOLD (3) resumes from a lay-off of six months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 7f at this track. Ran eighth in a recent trial at Hawkesbury. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. WHITE CHRISTMAS (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Marc Chevalier barn. Resumes after finishing seventh at Sunshine Coast at his last run six months ago. Ran fifth in a trial over 4f at Hawkesbury and looks nicely placed. Can return with a bold run.
