Musselburgh maiden hurdle winner SPEED DAVIS (1) could only finish fourth when penalised at Hexham. Might be capable of better up in trip. The point-to-point winning TOUCHWOODEXPRESS (4) was tailed off making hurdle debut. Earlier displayed promise in a jumpers flat race. Surely capable of better.
