THE CLAIMANT (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4f at Gold Coast, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SERENADE THE CAT (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when seventh over 1m1/4f at Doomben a week-and-a-half ago. Has the ability to figure prominently. CASTEL TROSINO (4) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 7 lengths away in 12th over 7f at Grafton. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. TRAPEZE TORQUE (8) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
