CALVARY (5) scored in a at Murwillumbah but was below his best last time when eighth over 6f at Ipswich. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MEAT PIE ARTIE (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 6f125yards at Coffs Harbour. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. HURRICANE HARLOW (2) has not raced since she finished seventh over 6¾f at Ipswich on July 24. Worth plenty of thought. THREE GRACES (16) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m3/4f at Grafton, scoring by 3 lengths. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
