SHANGHAI VENTURE (5) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten half a length, over 5½f at Wangaratta. Will be tough to stop again. FLIP THE Set Weights ITCH (2) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 4f190yards at Swan Hill, finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SHE IS ALL MAGIC (6) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5½f at Wodonga last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at this track the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. LAMINAR (8) last appeared two months ago over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic when he finished ninth. This is his first run for the Troy Kilgower stable.
